About me

My name is Fernanda, I'm 31 years old, and I'm from Brazil. I've been a product designer for 7 years, specializing in building design systems and creating products for both web and mobile platforms. I’m a positive, fun-loving person who always tries to see the bright side. I thrive in team environments and welcome feedback to improve my work. I believe that strong communication within the team is key to developing great products, so I make it a point to stay in touch with everyone involved to keep things aligned. Besides being a designer, I’m also a proud mother of two beautiful girls, Catarina and Madalena.

experience

2021 - Current

Product Designer at Softdesign

Currently, I have created the new user experience for the Timesheet (time tracking and financial module) and maintain the MGPT (digital third-party employee management module), both for internal use at Sicredi for the web. I utilize product discovery, jobs to be done, personas, as-is and to-be flows, wireframes, and also create high-fidelity prototypes and conduct usability testing. I work closely with developers, POs, PMs, and PMMs.

In 2021-22, I was the designer responsible for the user experience of CPR Fácil (a rural credit product), also for Sicredi for Android. I conducted usability tests, designed high-fidelity screens, and worked directly with POs, developers, and stakeholders.

2020 - 2021

Digital Designer - Hogarth

Digital Designer creating banners and posts for digital and social media using Photoshop and Illustrator. Designing high-fidelity wireframes and prototyping screens in Adobe XD, then exporting them in Zeplin.

2019 - 2020

UX/UI Designer - Ambush

UX/UI Intern creating user journeys, low and high-fidelity wireframes, prototyping responsive web and mobile screens in Figma, Sketch, and InVision, and developing a design system. Worked directly with clients to design financial management software for American real estate companies. Also, contributed to the creation of the MVP for the Kids World Records website.

2018 - 2019

UI Designer - UFRGS

UI Designer on the Project "NEW METHOD FOR EVALUATING PROJECT CONTESTATIONS UNDER THE IT LAW" under the supervision of Professors Lisandro Granville, Alberto Egon Schaeffer, and Juliano Wickboldt, in partnership with the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations, and Communications.
